Petition Health Secretary to work in an NHS hospital

More details

Using the same logic of the Health Secretary's idea that all new nurses should spend a year caring for patients before they qualify, the Health Secretary should spend a similar period working in an NHS hospital. After which he would then be qualified to make informed decisions about solving the problems identified in the Francis report. Is care training the answer, or addressing understaffing, or reducing Ward bureaucracy, or all of the above?
The time should be spent covering all HCA and Nursing duties.
