Rejected petition Ability to legally get through encryption measures on personal dvd's and make personal copies of them
More details
To be able to get through security measures in personal DVD's and duplicate them for your own personal use. The reasoning behind this is that you have already purchased this DVD and it would be unfair to pay again for an online version, when it is so easy to convert onto a digital format. Being able to do this would potentially save people hundreds of pounds on their online DVD's.
