Rejected petition Referendum On EU Membership

We the undersigned petition HM Government to give the people of the UK what we believe to be our right, a referendum on EU membership, and if the people of the UK vote to leave, the country makes an unconditional exit from the EU, all its laws and treaties. Our Parents/Grandparents were given one on joining the Common Market (which was a free trade agreement), but we have never had any say on political union, nor the creation of an EU Super-state that many EU ministers/politicians want.
