Petition Higher tax on fossil fuels and invest the money in renewable energy

I call for a higher tax to be placed on all forms of fossil fuel usage to reduce our carbon footprint as a country. The money raised can then be used to build more renewable sources of energy to reduce our nations impact on the climate and to prepare us for a non-fossil fuel future.
