The Coalitions' policy of unilaterally increasing the UK costs of fossil fuels 'Carbon Tax' will lead to the 'export' of jobs, especially heavier industry; greater fuel poverty and increased cold-weather deaths; higher transport costs and generally higher food etc. costs and lower economic growth.

Windmills are no solution as the wind does not blow all the time, requiring back-up generation.

China is now the biggest generator of CO2 at >25% of the World's total. Their 10% annual growth in CO2 output exceeds UK total output (2% of world total).

Even if one accepts the wildly exagerated MMGW claims, unilateralism by the UK on CO2 makes no sense and should be (re-)debated.
