With Britain making violence against women a priority of its Group of Eight presidency, will you use the opportunity to initiate the creation of a High Commissioner for Trafficked Persons, emulating the action two hundred years ago of the Conservative William Wilberforce bringing to an end the transatlantic slave trade, and of Nansen and the Norwegians ninety years ago in establishing a High Commissioner for Refugees?
