If we, as a country, can provide any assistance, it should only be along these lines.\r\n\r\nThere is a rebel group called Al-nusra, who have allied themselves to Al-Qaeda, a group British forces have been fighting for over 10 years, and we cannot besmirch the memories of the brave men and women who fought and died in that cause.  Just recently it was reported that Syrian rebels killed a young boy for blasphemy.\r\n\r\nIf you want to stop the Syrian civil war, work with the international community, provide tables and chairs to enable the talks to begin.\r\n\r\nPeace not war ","committee_note":null,"state":"rejected","signature_count":1,"created_at":"2013-06-13T23:13:26.000Z","updated_at":"2020-02-16T19:29:12.166Z","rejected_at":"2017-06-21T12:41:47.029Z","opened_at":null,"closed_at":null,"moderation_threshold_reached_at":"2013-06-13T23:13:26.000Z","response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"debate_scheduled_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":{"code":"duplicate","details":null},"government_response":null,"debate":null,"departments":[],"topics":[]}}}
