Tax evasion is a crime against society and the punishment MUST fit the crime. Tax evaders MUST know, while they commit the crime, that when caught they are going away for the rest of their natural life without any hope of release. Everything else has been tried and has not worked. We need to get realistic with our criminal sentencing policy in this country.
