Petition Do NOT use taxpayer pounds to pay lawyers to challenge the EU over caps on bonuses.

If our chancellor feels so strongly that bankers should be able to have unlimited bonuses then he should be willing to pay the legal costs PERSONALLY. Taxpayers should be given an opportunity to indicate if THEY support unlimited bonuses for bankers and are prepared to allow taxpayer pounds to be handed over to lawyers (many, many of whom are friends and colleagues of the politicians who are advocating that the EU should be challenged). TAXPAYER POUNDS SHOULD NOT BE HANDED OVER TO LAWYERS IN THIS MATTER.
