Because that would be theft and the ultimate insult to the people of this country who are paying taxes for the running of the country and not to allow MPs (and their wives and extended family members) to pig out at our expense at their party political annual conference. ANY use of taxpayer pounds for party political activities needs to be criminalised with a minimum mandatory punishment of 10 years in jail.
