Time out for holidays in school times. Parents of students at school are constantly being told, you will be fined if you take your child out of school to go on holiday during school time. Should a school policy governing teachers time out, be aloud to be abused by a Head Teacher. What the head Teacher says goes. School policy for teachers covers special circumstances. Funerals weddings and health issues. are special circumstances. Should a head teacher be given staff a holidays in school times knowing it breached the school policy as there were no special circumstances. Should the school policy apply to all staff. Or can a head teacher make their own rules, and govern it and choose, when a policy, is a policy, and when its not a policy. Special circumstances within a school policy should apply to all teachers.
