The undersigned call upon the government to change the law to withdraw a firefighters right to strike as part of an industrial dispute.
The undersigned also call upon the people to enter into a covenant to ensure firefighters are compensated for the life saving work they do, that they can access the best health care, and that they need not be expected to perform this physically very demanding job up to 60 years of age.
