Merchants' Academy in Bristol are proposing the creation of an all age Free School to continue to increase the opportunity for Autistic spectrum children.

We already have a Autistic Resource Base for primary school children catering for 28 pupils - we are proposing to open a Free School catering for ages 4-16 and expanding the places for ASC children to 84.

This will be an increase of an additional 21 primary school places and 35 additional secondary school places.

We now need the support of parents, carers, families and the community to add weight to our already strong application to the Department of Education.
