Many talented young people from less well off homes are denied the very best education that Grammar Schools provide due to so many having been changed to Comprehensives.
Grammar Schools provide the very best standards of secondary education due to their tradition of pride in the school,discipline, better choice of academic subjects and quality of teaching that attracts the best teachers which in the past has enabled the UK to be in the 'Top Ten' in the world educationally.
Bearing the above in mind,the Dept.of Education should ensure that every town in the UK has a Grammar School, the benefit of which will be felt by employers within a generation.
