Petition partial pensions as a safety net to help those elderly that need it.
More details
What are we going to do with all the elderly people who have done pretty much manual jobs all their lives, but who cannot cope with work due to one reason or another?
Are we going to have 60- 70 year old firemen?
What about Nurses?
No provision seems to have been made for the forward march of old age and it's ravages on the human body after 65.
People are different and their physical abilities at 65 plus vary.
To have some sort of safety net to allow those who are struggling physically to work part time ( past 65) by having a safety net of a partial pension.
People are different and their physical abilities at 65 plus vary.
So that is what my petition is about.
Campaigning to having some sort of partial pension for those whose health is failing but they are not ill enough to be off sick.
A way of retiring to part time, if circumstances arise, healthwise once you are past 65.
