Petition Convert the BBC into a subscription service funded by the Licence fee
More details
That the BBC become a subscription service available to those who choose to pay a licence fee.
Those not wishing to buy a TV licence will be blocked from viewing BBC broadcasts.
The BBC should be encouraged to sell it's most popular products to other broadcasters to provide availability to non subscribers and to raise extra revenue.
Important national events such as state occasions, the Olympics etc should continue to be provided free of charge to other broadcasters in accordance with the BBC charter.
