Rejected petition Re-instate the Old London Bridge

The modern London bridge has all the
charm of a Bulgarian motorway bridge,
functional but bloody horrendous,
(carbuncle-esk. monstrosity)

As a true Londoner,
I demand that the most
famous bridge in the world is reinstated,
where it belongs,
across the Thames in London.
What other grade 1 listed structure would be
flogged off to the highest bidder, Stonehenge,
Tower Bridge, Nelsons Column ? (unthinkable)
cost is irrelevant, this Georgian structure is a
part of our national heritage, history and culture.
The giveaway was authorised by people
who know the cost of everything,
and the value of nothing,
(politicians)
as not to overburden the treasury in these
austere times,
monies could be raised through the
national lottery,possibly a special
(Bridge Ticket)
once re location and rebuilding is
complete,the bridge should be pedestrianized,
and the open space used for the good of all.
