The Government is reported to be looking at selling the Student Loan Book. With interest rates and terms said to be unchanged the Government will probably have to significantly discount the sale in order to attract interest from the City.
This proposal requests that Government consider incentivising full, early repayment of loans through either tax reliefs of direct discounting.
