Insurance firms will cease to pay out on a repetitive basis for floods. The government must right to buy up unsaleable properties and move the occupants on eg to Northumberland, or to properties in Europe eg Spain.; cheaper than rebuilding . The EU directive on flood plans comes into effect in 2015 and the UK must get something ready.
