Councillors have voted in favour of a council tax rise today 25/02/14. This is disgusting we are already facing higher food bills, rent, fuel and warming our homes is more expensive too! This needs to stop! The rise in council tax will mean an extra 50p a week on a band d property. The majority of people living in cornwall are on minimum wage and this rise will simply mean people struggling to pay the bill or not be able to pay it altogether.
