We urge the UK government to take diplomatic and economic action against the Russian government until it ends its occupation of Crimea.
The UK government should work to isolate Russia in the G8 and other international organisations, including ending discussion over Russia's accession to other international bodies.
The UK government should introduce: serious sanctions on individuals in the Russian government, including visa bans and asset freezes of Russian officials; economic sanctions against any Russian company in which the Russian state has any stake; visa bans and asset freezes on any individual working for or with any Russian company in which the Russian state has any stake.
The UK government should work to instigate similar actions to those listed above by EU states.
