The UK Government unlike Scandinavia and the US resists banning trans fats totally from food preparation in the UK.
This is simply not good enough, however in order to help protect our population from these dangerous fats all food processors should be required to state unequivocally whether they use trans fats in their food preparation with a standard notice clearly displayed for customers to see.
