Rejected petition Referendum on MP's pay at General Election

MPs and ministers have been awarded an 11% increase in pay at the next General Election.
The Government have today announced that approximately 50% of nurses will receive a pay increase of 1% (ie a real decrease of c.1.5%) for the current year.
Most public sector employees have had their pay reduced each year for the last 3 years, as well as reduction in benefits, increased deductions and extensions to the period they are expected to work before drawing their pensions.
Most working people have also had real term reduction in pay for the whole of the last Government term.
This petition calls on the Government to introduce a bill to hold a referendum alongside each general election with a simple question asking all voters to answer Yes or No to the question "Do you agree to MP's and Government Ministers receiving the proposed x% increase as recommended by IPSA."
This bill to be introduced in time for implementation the 2015 general election.
