Petition British overseas territories should provide the same work entitlement terms and conditions as the UK.

More details

British Overseas Territories (British Colonies) e.g. The Cayman Islands provide high levels of taxation for the British Government, however the Foreign and Commonwealth Office does not ensure that colony government provides the same entitlements e.g. health and safety rules, holiday entitlement and national minimum wage that we are legally entitled to here in the United Kingdom. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office should be working to improve imbalance for many international peoples' who work within British colonies and mirror overseas territories terms and conditions to that of the British Government.

The current Caymanian average for employees (22/03/2014) is $7 (Caymanian dollars) an hour, a full $1.55 less per hour than the equivalent £6.31 British minimum wage than it should be.
