Rejected petition A harsher sentence for people involved in scamming charity and Govt - Kavita Jnagal & Rani Uppal
More details
This is a petition to evoke a reasonable sentence for the 2 individuals involved in scamming a UK charity and the Government from thousands of money.
The 2 criminals escapes with suspended sentences and ordered to pay fines of £1000. The justice of this is unfair simply because they are females and confessed to the crimes committed meaning they received light sentences/fines. An appropriate sentence must be given to these individuals as the crime was intentional and over the course of a number of years.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for.
Sentences that appear to be unduly lenient cannot be referred through the E-Petitions website. If you believe a sentence given in a Crown Court appears to be very low, or unduly lenient, anyone can contact the Attorney General's office asking for the sentence to be reviewed as long as it is within 28 days of sentencing. It also only takes one person to make such a request.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
