Previous attempts by Government departments to anonymise data led to patients being identifiable from \"anonymised\" NHS records.\r\n\r\nHMRC is not a company where you can choose not to do business with over it's data policy, and taxpayer's tax details (the most sensitive details alongside our medical records) should never be sold on.\r\n\r\nTaxpayer's financial details are not for sale, nor can HMRC put in sufficient safeguards that would guarantee anonymity.\r\n\r\nThe Government must not allow the law to be changed to allow this to occur.
