When a short term tenancy agreement is signed the tennant has to commit to the full length of the tenancy and can not back out. However the Landlord can back out with 2 months notice. If the Landlord wants to end the agreement early for no other reason than to sell the property then the Tennant should be compensated 2% of the sale price of the property.
