Rejected petition privatise the olympics

I realise of course that one country can't privatise the olympics but if one country does it then the rest would follow.

Why does it cost billions of pounds to fund the olympics this is just people running around in a field looking good.
This is first of all a futile exercise and on top of that to get the tax payers to pay for this is unaccepatable.

Just look at Russia they spend £50 billion pounds on the Olympics. Now of course all that money wasn't spent on the Olympics Russia is very corrupt. But this is just another reason to privatise the Olympics and take it out of the hands of corrupt world leaders.

You can radically reduce costs if you run the Olympics in local parks and get sponsorship from Coca Cola etc to fund the games. Your costs then have been reduced by 90% just by being frugal and not spending a fortune on massive stadiums that will just get torn down in the end anyway.
