Boris Johnson today made a bold claim that he would be happy to be blasted by a water cannon in defence of his authorisation for the Met to purchase three of the devices.
It is all well and good making such a bold statement when Johnson can hide behind his press team, as he knows this is unlikely ever to come about. We have had enough of empty promises and pointless posturing from politicians so we petition the government to hold Boris Johnson to his offer and be blasted by one of these devices on national TV.
