Petition protect UK drivers from illegal immigrants

More and more Illegal Immigrants are trying to access the UK, they are coming in via HGV'S and Coaches from European Ports hidden in the load or underneath the trailers.
They are getting more and more violent towards drivers when found.

Currently A HGV Driver faces a fine of up to £1000 per immigrant found.

what We are asking is for:

1. the Fine to be scrapped for the driver unless it can be proved they have acted negligently in allowing them to gain access to there vehicle (innocent until proven Guilty)

2. an agreement with the Country where the port is that the Immigrants are not just released outside of the port area to try again and they are actually dealt with.

3. More UK Border force officers stationed at the ports to undertake more checks on more vehicles.

4. a secure area prior to the Border Control Points where a driver can safely check their load and trailer where there is security staff available to assist when required.
