Rejected petition Electronic Legacy
More details
The legacy we leave to the next generation was once physical - including our books, pictures and other media. In today's digital economy this is no longer the case and we are in danger of leaving nothing to the next generations.
We have a duty to preserve our Electronic Legacy for the next generations for digital purchases (e.g. music and eBooks) and Web/Cloud stored pictures and data.
We require all social sites storing our digital media and e-tailers (e.g. Amazon's "kindle" store) to provide a mandatory and simple published pre-emptive option for transfer of our digital legacy immediately on proof of death from the Executors of an estate.
