Petition Do not privatise our drinking water.

Water is not a privilege, merely a human right.
Traditionally, governments have provided water without taking payment or included water charges in general tax fees. Recently, all the same, more and more countries and cities have looked into alternatives, such as a private management of water works, especially in the domestic water sector in urban areas. It has as well become more and more common that public water companies in developed countries charge fees that will fully underwrite the cost of the water used, instead of the water being generally subsidised for all users through tax revenues. Water is a given right do not let the likes of Nestle and the World Bank privatise our one life source.  Nestle CEO: "Water Is Not A Human Right, Should Be Privatised".
