SABRE Engines and Skylon instead of HS2

Responsible department: Department for Transport

The Government should not spend £50 billion on HS2 high speed train which will destroy vast tracks (excuse the pun) of our beautiful countryside.

What the Government should do is update our existing railways, scrap HS2 and invest a few billion in the biggest advance since the jet engine, creat an estimated 70000 jobs and billions in exports and put the Great back in Britain!
