Petition Standardise Cigarette Packaging
More details
Each year, the equivalent of 6,900 classrooms full of 11-15 year olds start smoking in the UK, a habit that kills half of long term users. Despite these statistics, cigarette companies continue to package their products in a way that attracts young people.
Standardising cigarette packaging would eliminate this. With around 600 children in the UK taking up smoking each day, the government need to act fast to ban advertising on cigarette boxes.
