Rejected petition Following the dismissal of Bryan Barkley, the Government to introduce legal protections for employees and volunteers believing in traditional marriage

More details

Following the dismissal of Bryan Barkley by the British Red Cross over his traditional views on marriage, we demand that the Government debate and introduce legal protections for volunteers and employees who hold traditional views on marriage, that they may not be dismissed or discriminated against because of this religious belief.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

There are already legal protections against this. Mr Barkley should
