Rejected petition increasing the age to transition to leaving care
More details
as a member of the north Tyneside children in care council I feel that the transition for a foster child to move from social services care to leaving care team is happen at a age that's to young it should be post 18 not post 16 as 16 is when your sitting your final exams at school and leaving school and that's enough stress with out having to move over to leaving care we want to raise it to 18 years not age
