The government must put a cap on fees for care homes as they keep going up to ridiculous amounts for the person who needs care but has worked all their lives and saved for old age only to find that now they need care they have to pay huge amounts to care homes for a bed and care that they deserve having paid tax all their working lives.
How can it be fair that those who have worked for their old age have to pay exorbitant amounts just to live whereas those that haven't catered for old age the government pay.
