Petition Harmonise across nations
More details
It seems an anachronism that England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland have different institutions doing the same thing.
This serves to divide rather than unite, and ends up costing more money.
For example - Land Registry services in NI and the rest of the UK should be harmonised. Many other examples could be found, I'm sure.
Ancient laws should be harmonised between Scotland and the rest of the UK to enable greater and freer investment from south to north.
We want the Government to open up discussion about greater unification of services, and operation to build a more United Kingdom. Savings can then contribute to reducing the National Deficit.
