Petition Long Buckby needs pedestrian lights

We as a community feel that we need 2 sets of pedestrian light to keep us all safe while trying to cross the roads it is only a matter off time before someone is run over hurt or killed!
Our main road threw the village is a long straight and many drivers speed and do Not stop for the zebra crossings leaving it very dangerous to cross whether you are young,old or have mobility issue's with the new housing development at the very end of the main road the traffic issue is just going to get worse.
So our proposal is for a set of pedestrian light on the zebra crossing by the infant school and another set on the zebra crossing by the community center both of these are used by school children from both school's and it will also act to slow the traffic down whilst traveling on the road. Please help us by funding this move to make our community safer
