I wish the Government to support the BBC's decision to axe the planned 'Top Gear' series following Jeremy Clarkson's alleged assault on a BBC producer. In addition to supporting the BBC's action in respect of its duty of care towards employees, it is critical that the anti-social conduct of Clarkson, a public media figure, is appropriately pilloried and not regarded as an example to others.
