Petition Use the British Army to take control of the criminal rioting spreading across the UK

While it is understandable for Home Secretary Theresa May to encourage 'policing by consent of community', hopefully this petition will make it understood that the use of greater force to ensure the safety of the British community at large is the embodiment of government by consent.
No one wants to feel unsafe in their own home, and it is time that this senseless violence was crushed before it is allowed to become any more widespread, or any more devastating.
Any kind of political or social credibility that this group as a whole may have had has been lost in the eyes of the general public, and the immediate security of the innocent public is now of paramount importance, perhaps only surpassed by the need to ensure that mindless violence like this is discouraged on every level, so that the UK never has to go through this ordeal again.
Enough is enough, Britain wants to be safe again.
