Petition Provide the security and justice this country needs with an appropriate police force and justice system

We call on the government to listent to public dissatisfaction relating to cuts in services affecting security and justice. People cannot prosper in a free and tolerant society without adequate policing; policing that by the government's declaration is 'by consent.'
The public is not giving consent for these services to be cut and declare their expectation for appropriate levels of policing, who have adequate powers to respond to the public safety and security needs, and a justice system which takes effective and immediate action to deal with criminals.
The public declare their support for the police when acting within the confines of the law and reiterate their commitment to ensuring groups or individuals employed in this capacity, working outside of the law, is fully investigated and appropriate action taken.
