The Prime Minister said publicly that all persons convicted of offences related to the recent riots / disorder would feel the full force of the law.
However, many persons have been given minimal sentences such as cautions and 10 and 16 week sentences.
The Government should ensure the Courts enforce deterrent sentences and administer the maximum punishments available.
