Since it is the public's money we should know how it is spent, how much, how much is left. Make it honest and data accessible so we, the public can appraise it. Then see if it is wise, or right and be able to comment on it.
Just because someone is in power does not give them the right to make decisions for us without our consent. They got in with our consent, but still have to govern in a just, honest and upright way. If they are not then the public should be able to comment.
